Red Sox

It was everything anyone would expect it to be. Joe Castiglione, the radio announcer introduced The Rays. James Shields and Matt Garza were given the loudest boo. Gape Kapler recieved a long standing ovation, while Rhode Island native Dan Wheeler drew some cheers, and Northeastern alum Carlos Pena recieved some applause. The Red Sox entered the field through the stands and then made their way to the first base line. Dustin Pedroia, the reigning MVP, seemed tp receive the loudest roar. Daisuke Matsuzaka, Jon Lester, David Ortiz, Johnn Pesky, John Smoltz, Jonathan Papelbon, Terry Francona, and Jacoby Ellsbury, in no particular order, received the second-loudest rounds of cheers.
